If all you need is a desktop or laptop to surf the web, buy it from one of the many retail
or online stores. If you have a wireless network then we recommend that you buy a
laptop, which will allow you to use the internet anywhere inside the networks range.

There is no difference in specification for the lower end PCs and laptops and very
little difference in price.

A recommended internet site that builds good quality desktop PCs at competitive
prices is Overclockers.

A recommended website for buying laptops of varied types and brands is Laptops Direct.

But if your needs for a PC are a little more specific, this web page is for you!
Your specific needs may be a games PC or a PC for graphic design. Both are
graphically intensive and therefore require high level graphics cards. Games machines
benefiit from SLA graphics (2 or more!) cards but graphic design machines do not!
Both benefit from 3 or more processors but this is more future proofing for games
machines.
